Hello everyone, dear friends! On July 9, the finals of the free-to-play shooter Point Blank took place. Your humble servant attended this event and considers it his duty to cover it for you. Enjoy watching)
Moscow weather greeted with nasty drizzling rain. This especially gave me joy, considering that I had to get up at half past seven in the morning. This event took place at the A2 Moscow nightclub. The opening was scheduled to take place at 9 a.m. As a result, everyone stood until 10 and got wet. Fortunately, I was met and escorted through the VIP entrance by a certain Kirill O.
For the first hour, visitors looked around and got active in various entertainment facilities, such as a laser shooting range or a small basketball court.
I was pleasantly surprised by the zeal of the guys (and not only) in throwing the ball. True, it was immediately clear who was from the Freestyle teams and who from PB. But everyone had the right to test their accuracy.
The presenter was pleased. In some century, they invited a knowledgeable person, and not a pot-bellied guy with a loose tongue, but who knew nothing about games. Our young man was a counter-strike commentator in the past. He spoke interestingly, attracted the audience, and generally was “on board”.
The public was not deprived of a large number of prizes and, accordingly, competitions. “Lift a girl 50 times”, drawing competition or dance competition. Yes, there was a dance competition. And it was necessary to see. And yes, I captured it on video 😉

The teams warmed up, talked, looked at the girls, imitated their opponents, and overall didn’t waste any time.
I think it’s very cool when such an event brings together guys from the most distant parts of Russia, from Ukraine and Belarus. It’s not every day that people from all over Eurasia gather to compete in accuracy, reaction and tactical abilities.
It’s time to hunt. Hunting for beautiful girls. To my regret there were only 2-3 bead-babies. The right to appreciate their beauty goes to you personally.
Everyone was waiting for the start of the qualifying games, namely 1/8. But suddenly the chief judge of the championship appeared on stage.

In general, I can hardly imagine how it is possible to allow a lack of Internet connection at the grand final network shooter. But let this remain on the conscience of the organizers.
And then a rare stupidity began. I’ve already photographed everything that could be photographed.
I went up to the VIP area https://8xwinscasino.co.uk/login/ and found a more comfortable seat. The leather sofa for the next 2-3 hours was my home, bedroom and place for entertainment. By the way, the only entertainment was trying to quietly steal a thermaltake inflatable hammer and put it in a bag.
I have to give the sofa its due, it accepted me as one of its own and was extremely comfortable.
I was awakened by the impact of spotlights aimed at my face. As it turned out, the entire VIP zone for the next 2 hours will be a film set for the new film “Gamer”. This is a continuation of the series “At the Game”.
As a result, I was kicked off the couch and had to sit on terribly uncomfortable chairs for ordinary spectators.
The director of the film said that he would need us (the public) to film the episode.
An active man, a little more than middle-aged, was running around with a walkie-talkie and giving instructions. Not without the key “Light! Camera! Motor!». According to the script, we were supposed to rejoice at the victory of our favorite team at the Point Blank tournament, jump, scream, hug, kiss our women, kiss other people’s women.

The American athlete lasted only a few rounds and was soon eaten.
Kirill received fame, women, free chewing gum and a guaranteed trip to the restroom in the near future.
Spectators took part in the entertainment, girls danced, journalists worked, advertisements were played. Speaking of advertising. I noticed a very interesting video there)
The qualifying games have finally begun. True, they somehow started without sound and without attracting attention. Only then did everyone realize that these were not demos or a recording, but that the fate of the checks for the winners was already being decided.
Honestly, although the dynamics of the game are much greater than those of the same tanks, the emotions on the US were much stronger. There, every damaged tank was accompanied by applause and joyful shouts. Here the audience reacted somehow sourly. Even when one of the teams won in the final, if it weren’t for the commentator, I wouldn’t have noticed it.
By the way, special thanks to him. The guy did not skimp on gaming slang and the same emotions, which gave the event an even more eSports atmosphere.
I think there is no point in describing the matches themselves directly, you could see everything with your own eyes with the help of broadcasts.

Well, after that there was a concert. DJ Vakhtang really brought the heat. I was a little confused by the guys from the group with the strange (maybe only me with my spoiled imagination) name “Right Hand” and, probably, Legalize, but your humble servant didn’t find him, since I’m not a fan of his work)

I listened to the speech of this director (for some reason there was no picture, but it’s a pity) – pathetic. He was terribly annoying with his voice and his power, if you like. I don’t know what the “fans”-extras felt, but if I had been in their place, I obviously wouldn’t have felt anything good. Ugh. It’s clear why Russian films are of appropriate quality.
